I was born, raised, and schooled in suburban New Jersey. I studied art with Maccabi Greenfield at the Art Students League of New York and went on to study at the Boston University School of Fine Arts. My family was a left leaning artistic family from whom I developed my core values as a humanist and that art is essential to society. I have always been a painter in oils and gouache and currently I am making cut paper collages. I have exhibited in many group shows in the metropolitan New York area. I currently live in Riverdale in the Bronx, New York where I reside with my husband. I have two children in their twenties, an actress and biologist.
